Where I Hope This Year's Top Offensive NFL Draft Prospects End Up

It's officially draft season now that the college football season is almost over. With that, here's where I hope this year's top prospects start their pro career come this April.

Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado- New York Giants

While some may prefer to see Deion's son under the bright lights of Las Vegas, I’d love to see him paired with Malik Nabers in the Big Apple. The NFC currently lacks star power at the quarterback position. While it’s uncertain how Sanders’ game will translate to the NFL right away, having this year's top quarterback prospect land in the conference—and potentially succeed—could help balance the league’s talent disparity at the position.

Travis Hunter, CB/WR, Colorado- New England Patriots

The New England Patriots simply lack talent across the board. Bringing in the Heisman Trophy winner could be a game-changer. Whether lining up outside for Drake Maye or pairing with standout corner Christian Gonzalez, Hunter would provide a strong foundation to accelerate the Patriots' rebuild.

Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State- Cincinnati Bengals

I understand that the Bengals having bigger needs than running backs in the first round. Heck, I wouldn't even recommended they do this, but this what I WANT to happen, not what SHOULD happen. Just the thought of an offense featuring Joe Burrow, Ja'Marr Chase, and Ashton Jeanty is downright jaw-dropping.

Cam Ward, QB, Miami- Cleveland Browns

The Browns probably won’t draft a quarterback, but I strongly recommend they do. The people of Cleveland need hope after the disaster that has been the Deshaun Watson era. Drafting Ward would give the team a fresh start at quarterback on a rookie deal, paired with two-time Coach of the Year Kevin Stefanski, creating a much-needed sense of optimism for the franchise.

Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Arizona- Carolina Panthers

Over the second half of the season, Bryce Young has shown significant improvement for the Panthers. Now it’s time to get him a weapon. McMillan, the best true wideout in college football this season, would provide Young with the reliable receiver he’s been missing in Carolina.
