The Silcoff Selections are here for Week 15 of the 2024 NFL Season! Below are my records for my straight up and against the spread picks for the season thus far.

Records Last Week:

Straight Up: 9-4

Against The Spread: 6-6-1

Season Records:

Straight Up: 136-72

Against The Spread: 105-97-6

Thursday Night Football: Los Angeles Rams (7-6) @ San Francisco 49ers (6-7) I Line: 49ers -2.5

As the season approaches its end, both the Rams are 49ers are in must-win scenarios as they look to keep their playoff hopes alive. In what should be a tight contest, I will take the team who is healthier. Los Angeles goes into the Bay and complete the season sweep the 49ers.

Prediction: Rams 27, 49ers 21

Early Sunday Slate

Kansas City Chiefs (12-1) @ Cleveland Browns (3-10) I Line: Chiefs -4

Somehow, someway, the Chiefs always manage to find a way to win. Since Kansas City hasn't covered a game in their previous seven, I think this is the spot they do it. As they get closer to clinching the AFC's top seed, the Chiefs force Jameis Winston to commit some turnovers and win this one.

Prediction: Chiefs 23, Browns 15

Cincinnati Bengals (5-8) @ Tennessee Titans (3-10) I Line: Bengals -5

Joe Burrow is playing fantastic football, and the Bengals are better than their record suggests. However, I think Titans head coach Brian Callahan (and former Bengals offensive coordinator), will be able to find ways to exploit this terrible Bengals defense. It will be close, but the Bengals win, keeping their slim playoff hopes alive.

Prediction: Bengals 26, Titans 23

Washington Commanders (8-5) @ New Orleans Saints (5-8) I Line: Commanders -7

I can't see the Saints upsetting the Commanders, especially without Derek Carr, but I do give them credit for their late-season effort under interim coach Darren Rizzi. This one is expected to be Marshon Lattimore's Commander debut against his former team.

Prediction: Commanders 24, Saints 14

Baltimore Ravens (8-5) @ New York Giants (2-11) I Line: Ravens -16.5

I am not comfortable betting Baltimore with a line this huge, even if they are coming off a bye. The Ravens should still win easily against a Giants team that is in disarray, and now Tommy Cutlets is back. Ravens trounce the G-Men.

Prediction: Ravens 27, Giants 10

Dallas Cowboys (5-8) @ Carolina Panthers (3-10) I Line: Panthers -2.5

Let's give a round of applause for Bryce Young! Young and the Panthers have been playing well lately, coming close to defeating playoff teams like the Chiefs, Bucs, and Eagles over their last three games. For the first time since 2022, Carolina is favored in a game, and while I do believe they win, I think 2.5 is a bit high, especially considering how hard Dallas has been performing lately.

Prediction: Panthers 23, Cowboys 22

New York Jets (3-10) @ Jacksonville Jaguars (3-10) I Line: Jets -3.5

A matchup between two of the NFL's most disappointing teams in 2024. The The Jets' roster is healthier and more talented. New York gets their first win since Halloween in what could be the final victory of Aaron Rodgers career.

Prediction: Jets 22, Jaguars 20

Miami Dolphins (6-7) @ Houston Texans (8-5) I Line: Texans -3

I haven't been impressed by the Texans this season, and because the Dolphins are fighting for a spot in the playoffs, we should anticipate an entertaining contest in H-Town. If Miami pulls off the upset, don't be shocked, but Houston manages to win in the end.

Prediction: Texans 24, Dolphins 22

Sunday Afternoon Slate

New England Patriots (3-10) @ Arizona Cardinals (6-7) I Line: Cardinals -5.5

With little time remaining to catch up in the NFC playoff race, Arizona is in serious need of a victory. The Cardinals will face some challenges from New England, but they manage to end their three-game losing streak.

Prediction: Cardinals 23, Patriots 19

Indianapolis Colts (6-7) @ Denver Broncos (8-5) I Line: Broncos -3.5

Dome team going outdoors in December... You know how I feel about this scenario. The Broncos force Anthony Richardson into turnovers, and Bo Nix has a day against this suspect Colts defense. Denver wins and moves closer to a playoff berth.

Prediction: Broncos 26, Colts 17

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (7-6) @ Los Angeles Chargers (8-5) I Line: Chargers -3

I'm simply choosing the offense that I trust the more. The Bucs have won three games in a row and I like them to make it four straight this week. Against the Chargers, who essentially already have a playoff berth secured, I like Tampa Bay to pull off the upset.

Prediction: Buccaneers 23, Chargers 20

Pittsburgh Steelers (10-3) @ Philadelphia Eagles (11-2) I Line: Eagles -5

This very well could be a Super Bowl Preview. Russell Wilson has brought a new life to this Steelers offense, and the Eagles face an uphill battle in Pittsburgh's defense. Despite the noise out of their locker room, Eagles win at home with absence of George Pickens being the reasoning.

Prediction: Eagles 24, Steelers 23

Buffalo Bills (10-3) @ Detroit Lions (12-1) I Line: Lions -2.5

This also very well could be a Super Bowl preview! The Bills suffered a loss to the Rams last week and they will now go to Detroit to play the NFL's hottest team as the Lions have won 11 games in a row. Detroit coming off extra rest, picks up another win in what has the chance to be the game of the year.

Prediction: Lions 30, Bills 28

Sunday Night Football: Green Bay Packers (9-4) @ Seattle Seahawks (8-5) I Line: Packers -3

Over the last decade or so, these two franchises have pretty underrated rivalry and it always seems to come down to the wire whenever they play. The home team has won the last 10 matchups between these teams, and I think the Seahawks make it 11 as they pick up their fifth straight win.

Prediction: Seahawks 24, Packers 21

Monday Night Football Game #1: Chicago Bears (4-9) @ Minnesota Vikings (11-2) I Line: Vikings -7

The Vikings are on a roll, while the Bears seem ready for the season to end. Minnesota takes care of business at home, improving to 12-2 on the season.

Prediction: Vikings 29, Bears 20

Monday Night Football Game #2: Atlanta Falcons (6-7) @ Las Vegas Raiders (2-11) I Line: Falcons -4

Call me crazy, but I have a sneaky suspicion the Raiders pull this off. The Falcons are reeling, and even in their losses, the Raiders have shown some fight. I’m taking the Raiders at home.

Prediction: Raiders 20, Falcons 19
