The Silcoff Selections are here for Championship Sunday of the 2024 NFL Season! Below are my records for my straight up and against the spread picks for the season thus far.
Records Last Week:
Straight Up: 3-1
Against The Spread: 3-0-1
Season Records:
Reg Season-Straight Up: 182-90
Reg Season-Against The Spread: 133-132-7
Playoffs-Straight Up: 7-3
Playoffs-Against The Spread: 5-4-1
NFC Championship: (6) Washington Commanders (12-5) @ (2) Philadelphia Eagles (14-3) I Line: Eagles -6

After a shocking win last week against the number-one seed Detroit Lions, the Washington Commanders’ magical season has exceeded all expectations. Now, they face a familiar foe: their NFC East rival, the Philadelphia Eagles, with a trip to the Super Bowl on the line.
The Commanders’ story this year has been nothing short of incredible. A culture shift was inevitable with new ownership, but the true catalyst has been their phenomenal rookie quarterback, Jayden Daniels, who has been outstanding all season.
While Daniels is the best quarterback in this matchup, the Eagles appear to be the better team overall and could arguably have the best roster in football.
Although the Commanders’ defense has improved recently, their struggles against the run remain a glaring weakness—a fatal flaw against this Eagles squad. In two regular-season games, Philadelphia averaged 219.5 rushing yards and scored five rushing touchdowns against Washington. Eagles running back Saquon Barkley is unstoppable right now, coming off a 205-yard rushing performance against the Rams. Barkley has already racked up 324 rushing yards and two touchdowns in just two postseason games.
Even if Jalen Hurts continues to struggle, I believe Barkley will carry the Eagles to victory, securing their spot in the Super Bowl.
Prediction: Eagles 26, Commanders 23
Prop Bets I Like:
Saquon Barkley 2+ Touchdowns (+210)
Jalen Hurts Under 188.5 Passing Yards (-110)
Austin Ekeler Over 2.5 Receptions (-185)
AFC Championship: (2) Buffalo Bills (13-4) @ (1) Kansas City Chiefs (15-2) I Line: Chiefs -2

The showdown we've all been anticipating. It seems like destiny has led us back to this point, Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen will face off for the fourth time in five years, this being the second time they will face in the conference championship game.
The Bills were the only team to defeat the Chiefs' starting lineup in the regular season, with a 30-21 win in Week 11. While I hope they can do it again, I can't pick against Kansas City until they actually lose a playoff game. The Bills' defense had a couple key injuries last weekend in their victory over the Ravens, and they've generally been much weaker on the road this season.
As I mentioned, I hope I'm wrong and that Josh Allen can finally defeat Patrick Mahomes to put their dynasty on hold, but I believe Kansas City will find a way to get it done. The Chiefs advance to their third consecutive Super Bowl, just one win away from pulling off the NFL's first-ever three-peat.
Prediction: Chiefs 24, Bills 21
Prop Bets I Like:
Kareem Hunt Anytime Touchdown (+162)
Patrick Mahomes Over 4.5 Rushing Attempts (-130)
Travis Kelce Over 69.5 Receiving Yards (-110)
Josh Allen Anytime Touchdown (-105)
Mack Hollins Over 11.5 Receiving Yards (-110)
ATS Picks Recap:
Commanders +6
Chiefs -2
