The NFL's Next Great QB Rivalry Is Just What The NFC Needed

The Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears have been rivals since 1921, over a hundred years ago. They have played one another 208 times including the regular and post-season over that span, but for the first time in this historic NFL rivalry, the Packers and Bears have potentially the two quarterbacks in the NFC with the most superstar upside in the conference whose battles twice a year, could help determine where the road to the Super Bowl in the NFC goes through every winter.

Both young quarterbacks enter the season with lofty expectations, and if Jordan Love and Caleb Williams are both able to live up to the hype both of them enter the 2024 NFL season with "The RIVALRY" and may be entering uncharted territories where the teams aren't the draw, but the quarterback duo is what has people running to their TV's twice a year.

Lastly, I am so excited for these two to square off because as stated previously, it could reignite one of the greatest rivalries, not only in football but in all of sports.

Throughout my NFL fandom, the Packers have dominated the Bears, and over the last 10 years, Green Bay has a record of 18-2 over their NFC North rival. A lot of this Green Bay owning the Bears has obviously had a lot to do with the Pack have no question the edge at the game's most important position, quarterback.

Now with Williams entering the fold just as Green Bay has seemed to have found their third straight franchise quarterback in Love following in the footsteps of all-time greats, Aaron Rodgers and Brett Farve, Chicago finally could have an answer or even an advantage to the Packers at QB when they square off.

Nevertheless, the Packers-Bears rivalry is back on and I cannot wait for Jordan Love to face Caleb Williams for the first time in Week 11 at Soldier Field in the Windy City it should be the first of many duels over the next decade or so.
