Non-Gambling Advice: 3 Prop Bets I Love For The NBA Finals

Over the last few years, I have been known to dabble on occasion in the sports gambling world. I am not a professional better, it is just something I enjoy to do a bit of intrigue into a game I am watching. With that in mind, one of my favourite pastimes is to research and look into prop bets that I could perhaps take advantage of that could help me add a few bucks into my bank account.

Now that you know a bit about me, let me give you some non-gambling advice. We haven't had any basketball to bet on for nearly a week, and with the NBA Finals on the horizon, here are a few bets I think we could make a bit of money on throughout this series instead of having to gamble game-by-game.

Luka Doncic To Win Finals MVP (+200)

If you think the Dallas Mavericks are going to win the championship, you can get them a juicy number of +190 in this series, but wouldn't it be smarter to bet on the reason the Mavericks would win if you like them in this series at a slightly better number? If Dallas wins the title, it would be because Doncic was the best player on the court, hell, even if they lose, there is a good chance he was still the best player in the series, and the Celtics' talent across the roster was just too much for the Mavs to overcome.

Doncic is a lock to put up eye-popping numbers in this series as he always does whenever he steps on the court. Bet on Luka to win his first Finals MVP, if you have the Mavs taking down the C's, it is just better value, even if it is slight.

Jayson Tatum To Record a Triple Double In The Series (+350)

Throughout his time in the NBA, Jayson Tatum has mostly been seen as a scoring forward, as opposed to a playmaker for others. Despite that narrative, Tatum has been outstanding at not only creating for himself this post-season but for his teammates as well.

Tatum has flirted with triple-doubles throughout the post-season since he recorded his only one of the playoffs this year in game one of round one against the Heat. He has recorded double-digit rebounds in 11 of Boston's 14 games this spring and in round two, he had a game with 9 assists, and in games three and four of the conference finals, Tatum recorded 8 assists in both of those contests.

The ball will be in Boston's best players' hands a ton throughout this series, and I expect JT to get at least one triple-double in the finals.

The Series To Be Tied 2-2 After Four Games (+140)

If you're like me, you expect this to be a tight series, being closer to pick'em, despite what the series odds tell us. Both teams have been up and down on their home courts in the playoffs, while both are more than comfortable going into their opponent's building to steal a game. I like the teams to split the first four games of the series setting up a huge game five matchup in Boston on June 17th.
