Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Heath Ledger as the Joker, Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool, Hugh Jackman as Wolverine... Those are just four of some of the great castings of all time. Now, after episode four of season four of "The Boys" I believe it is time to have a conversation, Antony Starr belongs up there with some of the greatest castings of all time in the comic book media landscape.
Starr is entrenched in this character now, and he has become even scarier in season four as Homelander. Episode four is possibly his best work of the entire series, and if there was any hope for Homelander, that is all gone now. It is now only a matter of time before this Nutbasket wipes out the entire population until he is the last one left standing.
Starr has been able to take a character who struggled with having to play the hero and made mistakes even though he was trying to portray that good image to now four seasons, we are watching the beginning of the end of him caring about what people think about, and it's only going to get much hostile or bloody from here.
With one-and-a-half seasons to go in this series, I cannot wait to see how Starr finishes his journey with Homelander because if he can keep this type of performance up, we may have a new GOAT in the comic book TV or movie debate.

To tribute the great John Homelander, he is better, Antony Starr is better than everyone on TV right now.
